Making Pedorthics visible worldwide

For the IVO Congress 2022 on October 14-15 in Cologne, the two journals "foot&shoe" and "Orthopädieschuhtechnik" together with the International Pedorthic Association (IVO) are launching a project with which they want to make pedorthists around the world more visible and bringing them together.

Scanning the foot with your hand

Four years ago, we reported for the first time on a Dutch research project to develop a glove equipped with sensors. This should make it possible to digitally map the tactile information that is recorded via the examiner's hand when taking measurements.
