Leipzig to Remain Permanent Venue for OTWorld

The German Association of Orthopaedic Technology (BIV-OT), Confairmed GmbH and Leipziger Messe GmbH will continue their 21-year joint success story: The contract for OTWorld's established venue in Leipzig has been extended until 2036, ahead of schedule.

"In these exceptional times, we would like to send a positive signal to the industry worldwide that we will continue to successfully shape and develop the global event OTWorld together in the future," emphasised Martin Buhl-Wagner, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe, at the same time thanking the BIV-OT and Confairmed for the many years of trust they had demonstrated. "This enduring cooperation enables us to adapt the extensive digital solutions implemented by Leipziger Messe to the needs of the international OTWorld audience in the long term. The ongoing partnership gives us the flexibility that is required to design and implement new formats," says Buhl-Wagner.

The International Trade Show and World Congress OTWorld offers a unique range of products and services to technicians in orthopaedics, orthopaedic footwear and rehabilitation as well as therapists, doctors, engineers, and medical trade and insurance companies' employees. As long as the pandemic allows, OTWorld will return as an international on-site event with supplementary global digital attendance from 10 to 13 May 2022.
