Canada and Australia: Conferences postponed to 2021

The Pedorthic Association of Australia (PAC) and the Pedorthic Association of Canada (PAA) have postponed their 2020 conferences until next year.

The PAC had already cancelled their symposium planned for April 2020 in March this year. Now the pedorthists in Australia had to pay tribute to the current situation and postpone the conference ­‘Pedorthics- Stepping to the West’, planned for October 22–24, 2020,  to October 2021. “Despite our best efforts and intentions, with travel restrictions still in place and international travel almost impossible it was no longer feasible to execute a conference and exhibition to the standard you have become accustomed to and the way we pride ourselves on”; says Katrin Wegener, president of the PAA. The PAA is now re-negotiating and working on rescheduling the conference for 2021.
The Pedorthic Association of Canada has already found a new location and date for the 2021 conference. It will take place in Niagara Falls, Ontario, from April 15 to 17, 2021.
