Seminar: Digital revolution - How can pedorthists make themselves indispensable?

The "International Seminar" has established itself at ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK and this year again offers the opportunity to exchange information on current developments in the industry across national borders. This year, the focus is on digitalization in pedorthics. Friday, Oct. 20, 2023, from 3.30 -5.30 pm will be all about patient interaction, assessment, design and manufacturing in the digital world.

The digital revolution has arrived in orthopedic footwear technology. Burying one's head in the sand or regarding the new technologies only as a threat to the craft does not help. The industry must come to terms with the new technologies and develop concepts on how new technologies can be used sensibly in the trade to expand and improve its own possibilities for care. Only in this way will it be possible to compete in the future with automated supply approaches, as they are increasingly being offered.

In the interactive international seminar at ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK in Cologne on October 20, 2023, various experts will report on the potential of new technologies. After the presentations, there will be plenty of opportunity to discuss various aspects of the impact of new technologies and with which concepts the craft can meet the challenges.

In different working groups the topics of the lectures will be explored and discussed in more detail and at the end of the seminar the conclusions of the workshops will be presented and discussed.

The seminar is free of charge. However, registration is required.
