IVO + ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK 2021 - Call for Abstracts

For the first time, the trade fair and congress ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK will be held together with the congress of the International Association of Pedorthists (IVO) on the 22nd and 23rd October 2021 in Cologne Germany. The organizers are looking forward to receiving submissions for lectures or posters about treatment and treatment concepts for all kinds of foot problems.

C. Maurer Fachmedien and the Zentralverband Orthopädieschuhtechnik - organiser and conceptual sponsor of the event - together with the International Pedorthic Association invite pedorthists, physicians, scientists and related professions to present their experiences and findings on the treatment of the foot and orthopedic appliances for the foot. Experiences and case reports from the practice are just as welcome as new findings from medicine and science or reports on new therapeutic approaches.

The speakers will have the opportunity to present and discuss their topic in front of an international audience. Interpreters for German, English and French are available in the congress hall. Lectures can be given in these three languages. Besides lectures, it is also possible to submit poster presentations.

The organisers are pleased to receive submissions on the main topics of the congress. These are 2021 the diabetic foot and the biomechanics of the foot. However, this is not a condition. As in previous years, there will be lecture blocks reserved specifically for submitted papers.

Presentations must be submitted by 1 March 2021. The announcement of accepted papers will be on May 3, 2021. Speakers whose paper or poster is accepted will receive a free congress ticket.
