Fribourg in Switzerland will host the IVO Congress on October 24 and 25, 2024, organized by the Swiss Foot&Shoe Association in cooperation with the APO-Switzerland.

3D printing was strongly represented at the 7th ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK. This was also reflected in the forum‘s specialist program, where numerous suppliers presented their products and innovations. What 3D printing can already achieve in pedorthics today and what companies should consider before making an investment was also the topic of the panel discussion in the forum on the second day of the trade fair.

With its two main topics and 27 seminars, the conference at the 7th ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK once again offered the opportunity to update your knowledge and gain inspiration for the further development of your own business. The conference focus „Analyzing, understanding, caring“ offered in-depth insights into human movement with numerous lectures and seminars and also conveyed concepts for therapy and the provision of assistive devices.

Just one year after the last edition of the industry event, this year‘s motto was again „See you in Cologne!“. Around 3,000 trade fair visitors and 560 congress participants took advantage of the exhibitors‘ offerings and the numerous educational opportunities at the 7th ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK at the Cologne Exhibition Center on October 20 and 21, 2023.

The new foot&shoe issue is out, with a preview of ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK in Cologne on October 20-21, 2023, news from the industry, and articles on the significance of new technologies in pedorthics. The new issue is available for free download on the foot&shoe website.

The Journées de l'Appareillage du Pied will be held on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Grand Palais in Lille, France. They are organized by the Fédération Française des Podo-Orthésistes, the association of health professionals specialized in the care of foot problems.

The Pedorthic Association of Australia invites to its national Pedorthic Conference 2023 from 12^th – 14^th October 2023. The venue will be the Esplanade Hotel in Walyalup –Fremantle, Western Australia’s historic port city. Visitors can expect a high quality conference program and a pre-conference program with several workshops.

"Analyzing, understanding, providing" and "My company - my future" are the main topics of the ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK congress on October 20 and 21, 2023 in Cologne. The question that unites both topics is: With which competencies and concepts will I be successful with my business in the future?

On October 20 and 21, 2021, Cologne, Germany, will once again be the place where the worldwide community of Pedorthists will meet. The congress with numerous lectures and seminars as well as the trade fair with more than 130 exhibitors will once again offer the ideal opportunity to meet colleagues and learn about the latest professional and technological developments.

The Pedorthic Association of Canada’s annual aymposium, April 13-15, 2023, in Niagara Falls is an educational event known internationally for bringing together some of the best keynote, plenary and workshop speakers from around the world. In addition to high quality presentations, the Symposium features a tradeshow with 60+ exhibit booths.

On October 20 and 21, 2023, Cologne will once again become the worldwide center of pedorthics. While almost all suppliers of the industry will present themselves at the trade fair ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK 2023, the congress will again offer the opportunity to bring one's own knowledge up to date and to learn about new approaches to pedorthic care.

On October 20/21, 2023, the gates will open again for ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK - International Trade Fair and Congress. After being postponed from 2021 to 2022 due to the Corona pandemic, the event will return to its normal biennial schedule in 2023. This year's focus will be on concepts for orthopedic footwear businesses and expanding knowledge about human movement and the therapeutic approach to foot problems.

 At this year's IVO Congress at the ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK trade fair, there will be a number of seminars in English, which will provide an opportunity to explore the congress topics in greater depth.

No matter on which continent: the human foot has the same anatomy and biomechanics everywhere. But the cause of foot problems are interpreted quite differently and the therapeutic approaches are often different as well. The IVO Congress is an opportunity to learn about some of these approaches and discuss them with colleagues from other countries. Saturday, October 14, 2022 will be all about the biomechanics of the foot. There will be a translation service for the lectures in the congress for English, German and French. 

Diabetic foot syndrome will be one of the main topics at the 6th ORTHOPÄDIE SCHUH TECHNIK and IVO Congress, which will be held in Cologne on October 14 and 15, 2022. On the first day, everything will revolve around current care concepts and measurement methods in diabetes.There will be a translation service for the lectures in the congress for English, German and French. 

The IVO Congress 2022 on October 14-15, 2022 in Cologne will also have many features in store for international visitors. In addition to the multilingual congress program, several seminars will also be offered in English.

OT-World 2022 (10-13 May 2022) is dedicating a special show to the supply of foot orthotics. The exhibition will show the complexity of optimal orthotic care at five stations. Guided tours of the show will be offered several times a day.

The Pedorthic Association of Australia is delighted to invite their members, the wider foot related network and allied health colleagues to the Pedorthic Virtual Conference 2021, a live online event open to both local Australian and international communities.

Global, on-site and digital: Preparations have started for OTWorld 2022, the leading international interdisciplinary and professional platform for modern orthopaedic treatment and care. In the wake of the exclusively digital OTWorld.connect, the industry eagerly awaits the next edition of its global event, once again to be held as a face-to-face gathering in Leipzig from 10 to 13 May 2022. Developed and tested through the pandemic, many of the digital elements will help expand the event's international reach.
